Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.

Joining Hearts, Connecting Souls

Supporting young people and their families has always been close to my heart, and through that work, I developed a strong understanding of mental health, trauma-informed practice, and the importance of deep, respectful listening.

I’ve always believed that communication isn’t just about talking – it’s about connection. It’s about really hearing someone’s story and holding space for them.

I’m also a firm believer in the power of words. Whether I was helping a teenager find their voice in the classroom or supporting someone through a difficult time, I’ve seen how the right words, spoken with care, can comfort, uplift, and honour.

That’s one of the many reasons I love being a celebrant – I get to bring all those skills together to create meaningful, personal ceremonies that reflect the people at the heart of them.

On the personal side, I’ve been married for 25 years and I’m a proud mum to two grown-up children. I love the quiet, grounding things in life – walking in nature, gardening, wild swimming when I can, reading, and knitting.

I’m also quite involved in my local community: I’m the secretary of our community association and volunteer at a local hedgehog rescue centre (yes, really!). Keeping busy, staying connected, and giving back are all part of who I am.

All of these experiences—teaching, parenting, community work, and a deep love of nature and people—have shaped the celebrant I am today. I bring warmth, patience, and a calm presence to every ceremony, along with a genuine passion for creating something that feels just right for you. Whether you’re marking a joyful new beginning or saying a heartfelt goodbye, I’ll be there to support you every step of the way and help you find the words that truly matter.
